At our building site in Austria we produce rigid and microcellular parts with a density range of 600 kg/m³ or rather 1,100 kg/m³ via PUR RIM technology - primarily thin-walled moldings are exposed not only to flexural loads but also to compression loads under heat, as there are trim panels, covers, engine hoods, front grills, storage systems, window frames, storage boxes, air vents, functional components, a.s.o.

 

Two or more reactive liquids are agitated under high pressure and encapsulated in the tool. At the same time diverse inserts and encapsulation parts as well as glass mats can be integrated for reinforcement (S-RIM).
The parts can optionally be formed raw black, varnished, in-mould coated or film-encapsulated (film-backfoamed).
