With PUR R-RIM we produce very tough, elastic moldings with a density range of approx. 1,200 kg/m³ - primarily thin-walled moldings with high mechanical and thermal properties as well as a high elastic memory.

 

Two or more liquids are agitated under high pressure and encapsulated in the tool. The liquid components (polyols) are mixed with solids, e. g. glass fibres. Additionally diverse encapsulation parts can be inserted.

The components can optionally be formed raw black, varnished, in-mould coated or film-encapsulated (film-backfoamed).

We use this technique at our building site in Austria to produce fenders, flared fenders and -extensions, front and rear skirts, front grills, covers, panelings, a.s.o.
