Convertible softtops did often not provide sufficient sound insulation in the past. But with introduction of PUR insulation this problem is a thing of the past.

 

Using a robot the polyurethane is applied to the inner skin of the softtop which hardens in the appropriate tool. At the same time attachments and connections can be integrated off-tool.

 

This technology, patented by PARAT, offers optimum noise protection and insulation for cold - as evidenced by numerous tests.

 

This procedure has been developed at our building site in Neureichenau and is already running in several vehicles for standard-production.
